Sourced from the vast and ancient forests of the Carpathian Mountains, this rare oak is known for its tight grain and rich tannins, which impart deep, complex flavours. When used for whiskey maturation, it produces a distinctive spiciness, sandalwood and fruit character unique to Irish whiskey.
